KEKO is a young up and coming Hip hop star from Uganda whose rise to fame came early this year (2010) with the releases of ‘’Fallen heroes’’ a duet with the Hip hop canvas 2010 ''How we do'' and her first single Alwoo(cry for help).
Born on june 3rd to Japadhola parents from Tororo, the self proclaimed Queen of RAP has since collaborated on a number of songs with numerous Ugandan artistes from Juliana to Joanita kawalya also including the much acclaimed ‘’ Go Green’’a climate change awareness song with Angela Katatumba.
KEKO is now embarking on recording her first studio album due to be released early next year, the first single and video ‘’ Alwoo’’ ( cry for help ) is already causing waves as it talks of real life subjects such as domestic violence, struggle, success and triumph which are common talking points in Africa. Her lyrical prowess has catapulted her to being dubbed the next ‘’big thing’’, the sky's the limit for this talented rising star.
